The District currently operates seven wells for potable water production, 3 potable water storage reservoirs with a combined capacity of 675,000 gallons, 6 potable water booster pump stations, and approximately 40 miles of water transmission and distribution mains. sewerThe sewer collection system consists of approximately 35 miles of gravity sewer main ranging from 6 to 30 inches in diameter. The District also operates a 3.25 million gallons per day (MGD) secondary-level wastewater treatment plant. The permitted capacity of this facility is 2.0 MGD. The District serves as a liaison between residents and Pacific Gas & Electric (PG&E), which owns, operates, and maintains approximately 325 streetlights within the District’s boundaries.
