The District currently operates seven water wells distributed evenly throughout its area. These wells have a combined production of 4.9 million gallons per day (MGD). To provide peak-time capacity and pressure, the District operates a 1,000,000-gallon ground-level storage tank and two booster pumps located on Williams Street immediately to the north of the Districts office.
The District serves as a liaison between residents and Pacific Gas & Electric (PG&E), which owns, operates, and maintains approximately 325 streetlights within the District’s boundaries. However, the District is available to field customer comments, requests, and complaints and forward those to PG&E.
The District operates a primary-level wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) located on the northwest and southwest corners of Wildman Road and East Bear Mountain Road. The operational capacity of this facility is 2.0 million gallons per day (MGD) as explained below. Inflow at the WWTP averages 1.4 MGD, and peaks at 1.7 MGD.
